Protein Packed Berry “Fluff” Salad

· ·

Growing up in the west, one thing you can bank on at any potluck is a “Fluff” salad. I believe its in some potluck bible somewhere that is required to be brought by someone. For those of you not familiar with this particular delicacy… let me fill you in. These salads all contain Jell-O, fruit, and a large amount of Cool Whip. Some variations have cottage cheese, cream cheese and other sources of creaminess. As you can imagine this combo is a delightful one! But not on the healthy side at ALL {apart from some fruit tossed in for good measure}. So as with most of my concoctions I took this concept and revamped it and made it something you can devour on the daily without an ounce of guilt! Oh and did I mention my fluff salad as 49 grams of Protein, So with that I proudly present my current snack crush Protein Packed Berry “Fluff” Salad!! You’re welcome 😉

Just some notes – I really like Isopure in this recipe as it provides a large portion of protein with only 110 calories and 0 carbs! It is also my favorite protein powder for body fat loss. Also if you have not tried Walden Farms products. You are missing out! They are all calorie free and actually taste good! Their Marshmallow dip is PURE magic in this recipe and gives the recipe just the right amount of “Fluff”  – I included a link to purchase on Amazon. But you can usually find Walden Farms products at any healthy swanky type grocery store. I have found it at Sprouts, Whole Foods, and even a couple of times at Target. In a pinch you could use FREE Cool Whip for same effect.

I have been snacking on this one for awhile and it has become one of my “go to” sweet afternoon snacks and it helps me get in my protein which can be a struggle some days! So enjoy and happy snacking!
