This little recipe I am about to share was created on such a day… It is everything a good fro-yo should be! Rich, creamy, smooth, and melt in your mouth good (without dairy!!) You’re gonna want to add this one to your arsenal, I promise!
This is not my first post touting my love affair with Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative. The stuff is pretty amazing however you decide to indulge. And for sensitive tummies you can’t lose with this dairy free option.
This recipe is super easy! Just grab a tub of your favorite Silk Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative ( I LOVE Vanilla) And add that to 3 Frozen bananas and a 1/2 tsp coconut extract- throw them all in a food processor or blender. I personally love using my twister jar on my Blendtec and using the “frozen dessert” setting. But any old blender or food processor will do.
Blend until rich and creamy – if you like soft serve – you can eat it right away! For scoop-able consistency you will have to wait… But I promise the wait is worth it, if you’re really into scooping your ice-cream. I had my
lady like serving right away… Who am I kidding I ate it right out of the jar. 😉 And it was magical!
3 Ingredient Dairy Free Banana Fro-Yo
- 3 Frozen Bananas
- 1 Carton Vanilla Silk Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative
- 1/2 tsp coconut extract
Throw ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and creamy around 25-45 seconds
Up the protein on this by adding a scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder!
