Lemon Blueberry Protein Shake, Simple + Easy!

· ·

In the morning, there is nothing more glorious than delicious blueberry muffins. They seem to be the perfect breakfast, and for many years I would reach for a muffin calling it a “healthy breakfast” it did, in fact, have eggs and fruit, right?

Sadly those muffins are full of sugar, and I would blow through my daily sugar intake first thing in the morning. Not a great way to start the day with a HUGE blood sugar spike. These days I am trying to feed my body well and live a healthy life. There is a MUCH better way to get the flavor of blueberry muffin goodness without all the extra grams of sugar and carbs.

This lemon blueberry protein shake is so tasty and would make the perfect post-workout smoothie or even a great after-dinner treat, add a little extra ice and make it super thick for a smoothie bowl vibe.
