Shake it Up Saturday –Week 1
I love my morning Protein Shake, but it easy to get in a rut and be stuck drinking the same one every morning… So I decided to challenge myself to come up with a new protein shake every week for an ENTIRE year!!! Yep you read that right 52 weeks of Yummy Protein shakes! I’m putting on my creative pants and getting to work! Check back weekly to see what yummy flavors I cook up!! This week I was drooling over the fresh blueberries that are out right now! So I decided to come up with a Lemon Blueberry Shake! Oh man this baby is so fresh and tasty!! It is one of my new favorites!!
Lemon Blueberry Protein Shake

1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
zest of one lemon – to taste
Lemon Juice – I used half a lemon
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup Vanilla Almond Breeze
6-7 Ice Cubes – to desired thickness
1 tsp sugar free vanilla powdered coffee creamer – optional adds 15 calories
Total Calories: 273
