Crave Worthy Carrot Cake Protein Donuts

· · · ·

This post is brought to you by EAS, AdvantEDGE but opinions expressed are 100% my own.

In a previous post, I have gone on record that donuts are my Achilles heel.

All willpower I somehow have summoned is GONE the second a box of donuts is placed before me.

So a food divorce has been decreed and I stay far away from these kryptonite filled donuts.

With that being firmly stated, I being a creative sort, have developed the perfect decadent and nutritious protein donut. Don’t let the term “nutritious”  scare you away – these were gobbled up by kids and husband alike!! They did not disappoint! Do they taste like a light and fluffy fried donut, no… Do they taste like a delicious and tempting cake donut – YEESSS!!!

These little numbers are a breeze to put together and will have you craving them all the time!

So glass half full they are EASY to make and they are filled with healthy protein and nutrients!

Start by mixing all your dry ingredients together – almond flour, oat flour, EAS AdvantEDGE Lean15 Vanilla Cream Protein Powder, baking powder, baking soda, stevia, pumpkin pie spice blend.

Next, add all your wet ingredients; Eggs, 4 Tbsp Melted Butter, Almond Milk, Pineapple, Vanilla, and Carrots – Mix until well combined.

Spoon batter into a gallon sized plastic bag, cut the tip off and squeeze into prepared donut pan. Fill to the half-way point

Once cooled top with cream cheese frosting! And then ENJOY!!
